Donating

Like the Helping Out post says, we are trying to raise over $3000 this year.  That means any and all donations are a huge help in getting to that goal.  Whether its $5 or $50, everything is appreciated.  I have set up a Paypal account, for those that want to donate.  Thank you for your help and I'll be sure to keep everyone updated.

Here is the link to donate

Helping out

We Need Your Help
Woodridge Public Works employees hold a unique fundraising campaign each October to raise funds for gifts to brighten the holiday season for underprivileged children.
“Stache for Cash”
Anyone that has been in contact with Woodridge Public Works employees lately might have noticed some awkward mustaches.  October has officially been dubbed as mustache month with all participants starting clean shaven on October 1st. We are growing mustaches in an attempt to raise money for the neediest local children. Our mission is to keep Christmas alive!
Last year was our first fundraising event. We raised just over $2700 and purchased gifts for 21 children in 9 different families! Our goal this year is to reach the $3,000 mark!
This is where we need your help

We need people to sponsor our mustache growing experience.  No amount is too small and every donation is appreciated. The more money we raise, the more children we buy gifts for. Every little bit will help.

Every penny that we collect will be spent on gifts for children and families who deserve some joy and who may not have a Christmas morning if we are not there to help.

The more money we raise, the more children we are able to help. We want as many of them as possible to wake up on Christmas morning to that magical surprise that we all remembered as kids and that we all hope our own children will have.

The children do not even know that we exist and that’s the way we want to keep it. We want the parents to feel some comfort in knowing that their kids will have a Christmas morning.

We hope the kids believe that someone a bit more Jolly really put those gifts under the tree.

We appreciate your generosity.
